Our presentation and discussion focus on eminent domain, recent court cases affecting the issue, and how they can help protect property owners in their state and community. We will analyze how eminent domain authority has been abused; identify ways to protect homeowners from eminent domain takings; and discus how to implement strategies at the state and local levels that will change how eminent domain is used.
